Ridgecrest United Methodist Church is a great place to have your wedding! Our facilities are very beautiful, practical, and spacious.
Our sanctuary is both traditional and modern. The decoration is minimal during the year, but near Christmas time the decorations reflect the season. We have a very sophisticated video projection system along with a high quality sound system. These can be used to show either picture slides of a couples' history together, or even a DVD made of home video clips.
The Church is even Beautiful in snow! If you prefer a winter wedding, then Ridgecrest is still a great place to get married. The decorations you see in the picture in the center above are some of the decorations you can find in the church around Christmas and New Year's.
The sanctuary can comfortably seat around 250 people in the first floor pews and about another 100 in the balcony. This gives you plenty of room for guests and decorations.
Fellowship Hall is a also a great place to have a reception. There is plenty of space, and there are tables and chairs that can be set up if you want to serve snacks, hours d' oeuvres or a full meal. As you can see, this space can also be decorated with the wedding colors and can be made quite elegant with flowers and tulle!
This is the kitchen where meals or snacks can be prepared for the reception. It is located directly off of the Fellowship Hall, so transporting food and drinks is not an issue and quite convenient.
